Cookies
Version 1, in force since 15 September 2026.
What we set
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
zak-prospec-session |
Keeps you signed in and holds your shortlist before you have an account | Session |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Stops another site submitting forms as you | Session |
cookie_consent |
Remembers that you have seen the cookie notice | 1 year |
All three are strictly necessary or record your own choice. None of them track you across other websites.
Only if you allow them
If you choose Allow analytics, two more services run and set their own cookies:
| Service | What it does |
|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Counts visits and pages, and where visitors arrived from |
| Microsoft Clarity | Records how pages are used — pointer movement, clicks, scrolling — and replays them as a session |
Clarity reconstructs the page you were on, so we mask text and form fields before it records: what you typed, and the contents of enquiries and quotes, are not captured.
Neither runs in your workspace or the back office at all, whatever you chose. They are on the public pages only.
If you choose Essential only, neither is loaded. Not loaded in a reduced mode — the scripts are never fetched, and neither company is contacted. You can change your mind by clearing this site's cookies, which brings the choice back.
What we do not set
No advertising cookies, and no social network embeds. We do not sell advertising and there is no pixel on this site.
We also count how many people look at each supplier listing without using a cookie at all: a one-way hash of IP address, browser and date, stored on our own servers, rotated daily and deleted after 90 days. That happens whether or not you allow analytics, because it stores nothing on your device and cannot be tied back to you or followed to another site.
Blocking them
Your browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking the session cookie will stop you signing in, because there is nowhere left to remember that you did.
